This week’s blog that I’m doing is on Research in Motion the company that owns Blackberry. I will be talking about their twitter profile page and how well they react with their customers/users such as the new blackberry 10 for instance. I find Research in Motion very interesting company but kind of sorry to say slacking with their competition with apple and slowly are going downhill. But I am going to look at the upside of the company and how well they handle themselves with their own twitter page on their company and how they respond and deal with fellow tweeters and followers.
I find that Research in Motion has used their Twitter account to what their actual company is about their stocks and in their phones which I find very interesting it looks good and goes with their theme of the company. Their use of the Twitter page is well done because it is well organized, they interact with their consumers when they post RIM: Blackberry reacts with them on what new and updating products they have. The page is black and bold just like their phone is. They are very good at keeping very orgainized, neat and is very informative in what their products are such as adding side bars on their updated news, how they have a website called crackberry.com that you can go check out. I find they are doing a good job because they are getting people involved with their business, they want to get their opinions on what is going on such as asking people what they are doing to be bold. They respond to you immediatly when you mention any of their products, they also post video’s about blackberry 10. They have even posted the blackberry community managers so you can talk to them keep in contact in what you want to know about blackberry. I find they are very quick in responding to questions or posts on their site they keep it very updated the most recent post was today. They are very friendly and cheerful when communicating to others. You can tweet to them directly and they find other posts about their company and re-tweet them for others to read.
In my opinion RIM:Blackberry Twitter page looks great and is easy to maneuver around it’s big and bold it get’s your attention. It makes you want to read more about them ask them questions and are always on top of thing’s like a company should be to keep their customers and followers happy and updated the newest and greatest products that are coming out. If they could put more into the company I think they could come out better and stronger than ever before.
